The Greatest Gift

I love this card. I have a set of four available now in The Market and in the online store.

Jesus is ... the greatest gift.

The inside says "Sharing with you the miracle of new hope and new life through the glorious gift of Christ the Lord. Merry Christmas."

May Light be in your pathway. 😊

Ember Girl

I absolutely LOVE this card. I may have to save one back for me!

This is Ember Girl. There are currently four of this card in The Market as a set.

This picture just doesn't do the beauty of this card justice.

The embossed snowflakes on the white background have been brushed with a shimmery silver metallic paint. The "snow" on the tree is glitter glue. This card is adorable even if I do say so myself 😊.

Inside the card reads "May the joys of the season be yours."

May Light be in your pathway.

Featured Vendor at The Market at 76067

Last Saturday November 3rd, I was the featured Vendor at The Market at 76067. You can see a promo video by The Market here.

My ten years of working at our local scrapbook store (Cat's Creations that closed 3 years ago) paid off! I couldn't help but think of my former employer (Cathy Beaty) as I made "kits" to have ready if anyone wanted to make a card.

I created 2 cards to give people an option. I tried to make them simple. That's harder than you think to determine what might be simple for someone who hasn't ever created a card when it seems so easy to me.

This card made with a lamb and stars is stamped on white paper with a black mat. This required stamping the lamb then stamping again to make the sentiment "Believe. The finishing touch was the glitter glue for the stars. The down-side to this card was the amount of time to allow the glue to dry. I didn't think that through very good. After the fact it occurred to me that I could have used a small rhinestone in the star. I'll know better the next time.

The next card looks way more complicated but is actually very easy to make. It was really fun too as there were several techniques used for this one. This ended up being the most popular card. It was my favorite too!

Dry and heat embossing was used plus using a die-cut.

The Market did a Facebook Live. You can see it here.

I also did a Facebook Live from Light in My Pathways's page. I wasn't connected to the wifi so the quality wasn't as good. You can see that here.

The Market was humming with lots of people. Many walked by my demonstration table. I would ask if they would like to make a card. Most of them would shake their heads and mumble something about "not being creative" or "maybe later." I think the cards were intimidating.

My granddaughter Kennedy spent the night with me and came with me to The Market. She had not been to The Market yet and was excited to see what it looked like. She also helped me bring things into The Market and get set up. I let her make a card to hopefully generate some interest in getting others to join in. It did help get other kids to want to do it. My friend and neighbor Mindy took this photo for me.

A friend of Kennedy's came to The Market with her mom. She wanted to make a card.

She did a great job!

Helping another little girl make a card with some bigger ones lined up to do the same 😉.

Miss Mea cutting out her sentiment for the front of her card.

Finished product! Mea did a great job!

These young ladies made my day. None of them had ever made a card. Their friend and owner's daughter Macy talked them into trying. They were each able to make this elegant Christmas card. I think those smiles show just how proud of themselves they are 😊!

They even stamped the inside!

They were so much fun!

My dear sweet friend Julianne came by to show support for me. She had never made a card either. Pretty good for a first time don't you think?!

This day was proof anyone can make a card.

I did one more Facebook live before the end of the day. You can see it here.

I made about 20 kits and used about half of them. I did receive lots of exposure that day. I had lots of fun and will do it again if The Market chooses to do so.

Here are some of the sets available in the online store and The Market.

Christmas season is upon us. I will be making sets of the cards above I used the day I was featured at The Market to put in the store and have in The Market.

Don't delay if you like what you see. I can't promise how long they will last!

Christmas Horses

I enjoyed making these cards. I'm sure some of that is due to the fact I love horses 😉

I originally made 4 each of both designs.

As soon as I posted the picture on Instagram of the horses with Santa hats,  a fellow horse lover and friend of mine commented "I want these"!

She asked me if I had anymore so I showed her the draft horses. She ended up buying 2 of each.

I took what was left to Spooky Wells and sold 1 each to another friend.

I now have one each left!

I am thinking I will make more of the horses with the Santa hats.

I can make more of the draft horses but it will have to be different paper.

I will be sharing more Christmas cards that are currently available.

May Light be in your pathway 😉

Thank You

"Thank You" cards are a staple. There is always a need for a "Thank You" card. Light in My Pathway gives you many options for "Thank You" cards.

This little guy is so adorable and makes a great card to give just to say "thanks".

Here is a fun feminine card to give as a "Thank You". The great thing about this image is there are MANY sentiments you can put in the banner where "thank you" is located.

Are you an avid coffee drinker? Is the recipient of your card? Either way this is a fun card to give to say "Thank You".

Got a cowboy in your life that needs a "thank you". Light in My Pathway has that covered too with this "much obliged" western Thank You card.

May be you are looking for something more classy and elegant.

This is a great card to give for a "Thank You".

You can find these cards in the online store at locally at The Market at 76067.
