I love this card. I have a set of four available now in The Market and in the online store.
Jesus is ... the greatest gift.
The inside says "Sharing with you the miracle of new hope and new life through the glorious gift of Christ the Lord. Merry Christmas."
May Light be in your pathway. 😊

Ember Girl
I absolutely LOVE this card. I may have to save one back for me!
This is Ember Girl. There are currently four of this card in The Market as a set.
This picture just doesn't do the beauty of this card justice.
The embossed snowflakes on the white background have been brushed with a shimmery silver metallic paint. The "snow" on the tree is glitter glue. This card is adorable even if I do say so myself 😊.
Inside the card reads "May the joys of the season be yours."
May Light be in your pathway.

Featured Vendor at The Market at 76067
Last Saturday November 3rd, I was the featured Vendor at The Market at 76067. You can see a promo video by The Market here.
My ten years of working at our local scrapbook store (Cat's Creations that closed 3 years ago) paid off! I couldn't help but think of my former employer (Cathy Beaty) as I made "kits" to have ready if anyone wanted to make a card.
I created 2 cards to give people an option. I tried to make them simple. That's harder than you think to determine what might be simple for someone who hasn't ever created a card when it seems so easy to me.
This card made with a lamb and stars is stamped on white paper with a black mat. This required stamping the lamb then stamping again to make the sentiment "Believe. The finishing touch was the glitter glue for the stars. The down-side to this card was the amount of time to allow the glue to dry. I didn't think that through very good. After the fact it occurred to me that I could have used a small rhinestone in the star. I'll know better the next time.
The next card looks way more complicated but is actually very easy to make. It was really fun too as there were several techniques used for this one. This ended up being the most popular card. It was my favorite too!
Dry and heat embossing was used plus using a die-cut.
The Market did a Facebook Live. You can see it here.
I also did a Facebook Live from Light in My Pathways's page. I wasn't connected to the wifi so the quality wasn't as good. You can see that here.
The Market was humming with lots of people. Many walked by my demonstration table. I would ask if they would like to make a card. Most of them would shake their heads and mumble something about "not being creative" or "maybe later." I think the cards were intimidating.
My granddaughter Kennedy spent the night with me and came with me to The Market. She had not been to The Market yet and was excited to see what it looked like. She also helped me bring things into The Market and get set up. I let her make a card to hopefully generate some interest in getting others to join in. It did help get other kids to want to do it. My friend and neighbor Mindy took this photo for me.
A friend of Kennedy's came to The Market with her mom. She wanted to make a card.
She did a great job!
Helping another little girl make a card with some bigger ones lined up to do the same 😉.
Miss Mea cutting out her sentiment for the front of her card.
Finished product! Mea did a great job!
These young ladies made my day. None of them had ever made a card. Their friend and owner's daughter Macy talked them into trying. They were each able to make this elegant Christmas card. I think those smiles show just how proud of themselves they are 😊!
They even stamped the inside!
They were so much fun!
My dear sweet friend Julianne came by to show support for me. She had never made a card either. Pretty good for a first time don't you think?!
This day was proof anyone can make a card.
I did one more Facebook live before the end of the day. You can see it here.
I made about 20 kits and used about half of them. I did receive lots of exposure that day. I had lots of fun and will do it again if The Market chooses to do so.
Here are some of the sets available in the online store and The Market.
Christmas season is upon us. I will be making sets of the cards above I used the day I was featured at The Market to put in the store and have in The Market.
Don't delay if you like what you see. I can't promise how long they will last!

Christmas Horses
I enjoyed making these cards. I'm sure some of that is due to the fact I love horses 😉
I originally made 4 each of both designs.
As soon as I posted the picture on Instagram of the horses with Santa hats, a fellow horse lover and friend of mine commented "I want these"!
She asked me if I had anymore so I showed her the draft horses. She ended up buying 2 of each.
I took what was left to Spooky Wells and sold 1 each to another friend.
I now have one each left!
I am thinking I will make more of the horses with the Santa hats.
I can make more of the draft horses but it will have to be different paper.
I will be sharing more Christmas cards that are currently available.

I recently fulfilled a customer order for "Thank You" cards for a real estate agent. She is just getting started in the business but wanted handcrafted "Thank You" cards to give to her clients when they purchased a new home through her.
This is what I created for her.
She was thrilled!
This is what she posted on Facebook after I sent her this picture of the cards on October 28th:
She came to The Market on Saturday to pick them up

Thank You
"Thank You" cards are a staple. There is always a need for a "Thank You" card. Light in My Pathway gives you many options for "Thank You" cards.
This little guy is so adorable and makes a great card to give just to say "thanks".
Here is a fun feminine card to give as a "Thank You". The great thing about this image is there are MANY sentiments you can put in the banner where "thank you" is located.
Are you an avid coffee drinker? Is the recipient of your card? Either way this is a fun card to give to say "Thank You".
Got a cowboy in your life that needs a "thank you". Light in My Pathway has that covered too with this "much obliged" western Thank You card.
May be you are looking for something more classy and elegant.

Baby Cards
When you buy a card from Light in My Pathway, you not only getting quality but you also get something no one else has. That means when you buy a card for a baby shower you don't have to worry about someone giving the same card....unless of course they get it from me 😉. Even then I can make the card entirely different or simply change the sentiment or the color of the image or the type of patterned paper. Either way the card won't be identical.
Here are some baby cards that are available in the online store and at The Market at 76067.
I love this stamp. This is a Unity Stamp created by artist Tierra Jackson. I colored the giraffe with alcohol markers and cut out.
This card I paper pieced by stamping the image on solid colored paper and cut it out. I love how this turned out.
Let me know how Light in My Pathway can meet your greeting card needs.

Guy Cards
One of the harder cards to find and make are Masculine. "Guy cards". You know the ones that don't require lacy, sparkle and flowers? That should make them easy right?! Not necessarily.
Here is a very simple Happy Birthday "Guy Card".
This image is by Unity Stamp Company called "Forrest Guy" created by artist Angie Blom.
I can also change out the sentiment to whatever occasion you need.
This is another great image to use for that special man in your life. This can be used as a "birthday", "thank you", or "thinking of you".
Most guys like cars right?! And who doesn't like the classic Mustang?!
This is a great image for a masculine card. This too is a Unity Stamp. This one is designed by artist Tiera Jackson
These cards can be purchased online or if you live in the Mineral Wells Area from The Market at 76067.
None of these really what you're looking for? Give me a call or email. I have trucks, horses, dogs, fishing. I'm sure to have something to help you celebrate your guy 😉.

Anniversary Cards
I had two customers ask for special anniversary cards. One needed a card for a 50th anniversary and the other a 70th anniversary. Yes, you read correctly 70th! Not many of those!
I asked the customer what the couple's wedding colors were and used those to color the image.
I did some checking to find out what the colors are for a 70th wedding anniversary and learned it's Platinum. This isn't actually platinum but it was the best I could do.
The customer was very pleased and I was relieved 😌.
Do you need a special anniversary card? Light in My Pathway can create that special numbered anniversary.

Sympathy
One of the type of cards that is much needed is sympathy. Not only for people that we love but also for people who have lost a beloved pet.
Our pets are like family and we grieve for them just the same.
I recently had a request to make a sympathy card for the loss of a pet. I did not have a stamp of the breed of dog but I had a dog stamp.
I made this card and showed it to the customer. She said it was perfect!
Here is the inside of the card.
If you're in need of a sympathy card for whatever the reason Light in My Pathway has you covered.

The Market is Open
The Market at 76067 opened Tuesday October 2nd at 10AM. This is a mini-mall with all sorts of different vendors. I have the privilege to be one of those many vendors.
The vendors were invited to a "pre-opening" on October 1st. The Market begins at the flower shop which is the green building in the middle of the block toward the right of the photo.
I found my card display.
Part of The Market includes organic produce, fresh baked goods, along with fresh dairy products and grass fed beef.
See my card display?
A fully stocked kitchen in which to make food samples.
I LOVE this staircase! The opening you see to the right of the staircase goes into the Flower Shop.
View from the staircase. You can see my card display form this angle too. 😉
The Baby Shop
Hello Yellow Boutique
This may be my favorite room. The Christmas Room.
All these pictures were taken at the pre-view.
I did learn that 2 of my cards sold on opening day! I was pretty happy about that.
Come check out The Market at 76067. You won't be disappointed and you'll find Light in My Pathway there 😊.
